Cycling in Greece during coronavirus

Here are some important instructions regarding traveling in Greece in COVID-19 time. Most measurements you will be familiar with because they are similar to your home country. We are convinced that despite the rules & regulations, you will have a great time and relaxing moments in Greece!

At least 48 hours before you arrival you need to fill in a special electronic from  PFL (Passanger Load factor) you can do it in https://travel.gov.gr/#/ . As hotels should also have your mobile and emails address, we kindly ask you to inform your travel agency about your valid mobile phone number and email address during your trip.

After you have filled in the PFL you will receive the unique quick response (QR) within the next 24 hours, you need to show this code upon arrival to airport in Greece. Health officials will conduct sample coronavirus tests. Travelers that test positive will be moved to a quarantine hotel and be under supervision for 14 days.

At the end of June a mobile app should be available with up to date info for COVID-19 situation in Greece and all related info in the area you are traveling.

At the moment the number of clients in taxis is limited to 3 with the exception of a family with children under 18 years old that can travel together depending on the capacity of taxi/van. In Long distance busses capacity is reduced to 50 %, every second seat needs to be empty, the same applies to ferries.

In case you have booked ferry tickets with us, we will provide you with a document you need to fill out and have it with you when you enter the ferry boat; upon entering also your temperature is measured.

You are obliged to wear a mask in taxis, ferry boats, long distance buses, shopping malls, lifts and public transportation. If a mask is required elsewhere it is clearly marked next to entrance. There is a fine of 150 Euros for not wearing a mask in places where it is obligatory. Also some museums require wearing a mask, like Acropolis museum. you are also requested to keep a safety distance of 2 meters whenever possible.

If you wish to visit Acropolis or Acropolis Museum, we advise you to book your tickets in advance in order to avoid waiting in queue. For other main archeological sites, it is not yet possible to buy tickets advance with the exception of Knossos in Cree.

Tavernas, restaurants and bars have limited number of table available, and in one table up to 6 persons of same party can sit together. On organized beaches and hotel swimming pools there is reduced number of sunbeds and umbrellas available and extra measurements for cleaning the common areas. The sunbeds are being cleaned after each client.

The new check in and check out time are, check out 11.00 hours, check in 15.00 hours. Please also note hotels are advised to avoid frequent cleaning of rooms during your stay and the daily change of sheets, pillowcases and towels should be avoided and only carried out upon request.
